Managing Director
Laura has been championing innovative work in the digital & direct space for over 15 years. Starting with launching the first ever customer lifecycle programmes for Vodafone, then moving onto omni-channel customer strategies for them and the likes of Mercury before omni-channel even existed.
She then spent 5 years working on Genesis Energy, with a focus on acquisition and retention journeys before taking on the leadership of Air New Zealand, a role which she held for over 10 years – which saw an unprecedented phase of digital innovation leading to huge business growth as well as industry recognition.
Laura believes in forging her own path. She wants to challenge partners to use innovation and emerging channels to drive better individual brand experiences that customers can connect with in order to drive long term performance.
When she’s not breaking the mould of traditional advertising, she’s a mother of two gorgeous girls and the wife to a fellow ad guy who brews some quite good beer.
Chief Transformation Officer
Qassem (aka Q) is a self-proclaimed data enthusiast and true hybrid of advertising and science, beginning his career in medical laboratories researching targeting cancer treatments before venturing into targeting consumers.
Q maintains strong relationships with major technology providers and clients alike, leading RFPs selecting the right technology, all the way through to designing strategies and successfully implementing them within businesses in order to drive measurable ROI.
He worked across leading brands in Seattle prior to making his way to New Zealand to join FCB. in 2016. Since moving to New Zealand, Q has worked tirelessly to bridge the gap between traditional advertising and data, empowering FCB’s capabilities and building a specialist team along the way whose core purpose is helping clients realize the true potential of data & technology.
Strategy Consultant
Anna believes the future of marketing is individual. Brands grow and prosper by recognizing and engaging their customers as individuals in the moment. As a strategist, Anna works at the intersection of data, technology and creativity. Her goal is to design customer experiences that build stronger relationships between brands and their audiences throughout the customer journey.
As EVP, Strategy for FCB/SIX, Anna was a key member of the founding leadership of FCB/SIX Toronto, Canada’s most awarded agency of 2019. During her tenure, the agency won 17 Cannes Lions for digital and data creativity and was named AdAge Data & Analytics Agency of the Year in 2019. Her work includes the globally recognized “Destination Pride” campaign for PFLAG Canada, a data-driven onboarding experience for BMW, the highly acclaimed AI driven “Go Back to Africa” campaign for Black and Abroad and ActToo for the MeToo Movement.
She has been an architect of data-driven strategy for many other global brands including General Motors, Air Canada, Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson and McDonalds.
Head of Client Partnerships
Over the last 11 years Emily has worked across some of New Zealand’s most iconic brands including Air New Zealand, Fonterra, Lion Nathan and Wattie’s. Her passion for strategy has been integral in her work on projects such as the launch of the Western Ring Route, Auckland’s largest shift in transport since the Auckland Harbour Bridge as well as leading the Long Haul and Tasman Portfolios on Air New Zealand over the last 5 years.
Emily has extensive experience in brand and communications planning – and in particular customer journey mapping for loyalty lifecycles and digitally focussed consumer & service brands. She loves finding simplicity in the details – using data to fuel single minded, customer focussed ideas that can be replicated across businesses to drive growth.
Outside of work she can be found surfing a local beach with her husband, or enjoying a class of Pinot on the couch with her giant fluff ball of a dog, Scout.
Creative Director
During his 15-year career, Jared has produced award-winning and industry-shifting work in almost every advertising category, including film, social media, content, design, innovation and retail. FCB/SIX is a return for him to the FCB family, after having had senior creative roles in the New Zealand and New York offices.
During his previous tenure at FCB, his work won the Cyber Grand Prix at Cannes and was also featured in the Top 50 Advertising Campaigns of the Century. He has also been named one of the Top 10 Social Media Creatives in the World.
Starting in the industry as a banner builder, he now merges that hands-on experience with big-picture strategic thinking. He believes the most effective work is always at the crossroads of empathy and clever, unexpected thinking.
Head of Digital
James has a breadth of experience in digital production that has found a natural home in the world of advertising. Blending production smarts and the ability to build effective teams he is a natural conduit between clients and the tech, and an advocate for making effective creative that delivers to the business needs.
With a background spanning global telcos, media broadcasters and news publishers in the UK and Australia before entering the NZ advertising industry James has worked across some of the largest brands in NZ , across business sectors and consistently helps clients deliver results and be recognized at awards shows for innovation.
The last few years has seen a focus on developing products, tools and platforms that have transformed the production process for clients and agencies – bringing automation, savings and innovation for bothcampaigns and tracking.
Outside of work he loves fishing, cooking and an unusual looking dog called Chili.

With over 7 years’ experience in direct marketing & technology, Vlad takes a pragmatic approach to data science and combines it with innovative ways of working to deliver unique, data-driven ideas that generate business results.
A solutions consultant with extensive experience delivering enterprise architecture and managing marketing technology implementations with a holistic command of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
As a believer of Agile processes, Vlad can often be found working on-site with clients and coaching squads.
Vlad has worked with many New Zealand businesses such as Vodafone, Mercury, Loyalty NZ and Air New Zealand on a wide range of projects – From onboarding Marketing Automation platforms and developing data models, to helping businesses undergo their digital transformations.

Hugh brings a breadth of experience to the team, honing his digital skill through launching his own e-commerce start-up. Something of a serial entrepreneur, Hugh also founded and strategically directs a successful B2B procurement company in the industrial sector.
Since joining FCB in 2020, Hugh has worked with all our technology partners including Salesforce across multiple products including Marketing Cloud, Interaction Studio, CDP and Datorama.
With great passion for the advertising and marketing industry Hugh believes the fusion of data, technology and creativity is the pathway to meaningful and effective work.
Hugh’s unusual path to advertising gives him a unique perspective and broad range of abilities which complement every team he works in.
